Would love to see it after the Thursday show. I totally agree with antny’s comments.

I’m very excited to see that you’re filling the hole that was created by Hose Calls not being able to find a sponsor. Thank you. If I was given the choice of having Big Brother Extra air either immediately before or after the live show, I would prefer to have it before for the following reasons.
1) The live show is done in a way where the episode builds up to the climax (the eviction,) their interview with Julie resolves the climax, and the new HOH starts the buildup to the next climax. If Big Bother Extra were to air after the live show, the conversation would be more about predictions – who will the new HOH nominate, how will that effect their alliance, what would happen with the veto, and other similar questions, because the previous week was already “resolved” (we all know that’s not completely true, especially if the eviction was a blindsight, but there will always be more tension immediately before than immediately after the eviction.) If Big Brother Extra were to air before the live show, there would still be predictions about who would be evicted and who the next HOH would be, but since the most recent week hasn’t been “resolved,” there will be much more emphasis on the past week – more conspiracy theories, more pointing out of little details that could make all the difference; Big Brother Extra airing before the live show would create more discussion about what actually happened instead of what we think might happen.
2)The live show airs from about 8 to 9 eastern, so if it were to be after the live show, Big Brother Extra would air from 9 to 10ish. I personally have driver’s education and marching band practice early in the morning, and I’m sure many others have to get up to go to work. I’m sure that this would tempt me and many others to not watch.
3) Antny also mentioned how could watch the beginning of the HOH competition if it is endurance. For the endurance, all they really do is stand there as the competition goes on – they usually have very little to say during the competition, giving us very little to say about the competition.
One thing I liked about House Calls was that it gave me a little Big Brother on almost every day of the week. If Big Brother Extra were to air on Wednesday or Monday, it would help give me that “a little Big Brother every day” while rest of the week predictions would have nominations to base themselves off of.
I also enjoyed how House calls that it provided me with a mid-day break – during Season 9, I spent my lunch period watching House Calls in the computer lab. Season 10 House calls was my way of unwinding after marching band practice. I imagine many others the same. If Big Brother Extra were to air in the evening, I’d already be relaxed because I just had dinner, defeating of the main things I enjoyed about House Calls. I’m sure I’m not alone in having House Calls provide me with a mid-day break.
House Calls being in the afternoon also gave me a break between the talk show and the episode; I like how they were spread out and I don’t like to sit down for two straight hours and watch.
I realize that Big Brother Extra is not House Calls. I am open minded and optimistic about what it can improve on. I just really enjoyed how House Calls had the above to functions for me.
For the reasons stated above; this is my order for when to see Big Brother Extra.
1) Wednesday afternoon.
2) Monday afternoon.
3) Wednesday evening.
4) Monday evening.
5) Immediatley before the live show.
6) Immediately after the live show.
As for houseguests I would like to see, here are people I liked or think would have interesting views
Season 10: Dan, Keesha, Renny, Jessie, Brian
Season 9: Adam, Shelia, Natalie, Alex (he seemed like a really smart guy who was screwed over by his partner, Amanda.)
Season 8: Kail, Eric, Zach, Evel
Season 7: Chill Town
Season 6: Kaysar, Maggie, Janelle, Howie, Rachel

i think Mike makes some valid points but couldn’t BBEXTRA live also be put in an archive? that would still allow people with hectic schedules to find time to watch what people are talking about…

I personally never watched HouseCalls because i live in the Central time zone and it came on at an odd hour.

If BBextra LIVE was after eviction shows i think it would allow people to talk more about what happened on the live show. I know i am never fully “resolved” after watching a live show! I don’t understand what some of these Housemates do sometimes!!! lol I want to chat about it with others that want to chat about it.

plus majority of the time, the people following the live feed know who is going to be evicted and live shows are not much of a surprise to begin with majority of the time. by have BBEL after the live show we can talk about the eviction and help predict what is to come of that week.

we could even make a segment of it where there is the prediction board of what Bunky and his guest think is going to happen that week! Or even it can become part of the forum and maybe there is some prize for the most correct predictions… kinda like a fantasy league except on a more attainable scale!

Just my $1.50 of thoughts! lol

My vote is before the eviction, feeds are cut anyways. After the eviction there is can be alot going on in the house.

“Why would you be against the show airing on Wednesday?” Oh i am not AGAINST it airing at that time just i put in my preference as to when i thought would be a good time. Brian had stated the day of Thursday prior so I was picking a time that I personally preferred on a Thursday.

If yes, why do you feel this way?” Yes i do feel this way because predicting and being active about is always a ton of fun! That is why I like LOST, predicting what is going to happen to the people on the island and what not.

I think we can have a talk aobut what just happened and our feelings on it and then move on to predictions as to what we think the new hoh is going to do.

I personally think that having it after eviction would allow a more range of topics this during the show. It would let us talk about the week prior and the week coming up!

what time is bbextra normally on? ive never watched it before but now that housecalls is off i need a replacement call in show! and PLEASE archive it because i may not always be able to watch it live but really want to see it. i would prefer to have it on right after the veto competition takes place on the feeds but not on air yet. but anything is fine! haha. PLEASE ARCHIVE IT! thanks!

I think the best time is the hour prior to eviction. It will be fun to guess what will happen and the feeds are cut then anyway. You will probably get more viewers at that time who are anxious for the live show and can’t wait.

if it is set for thursday (which i think is fine) then i think right before the live show would be the best. for co-hosts, i say: keesha, janelle, dan, memphis, drew (bb5), dr will, libra, and danielle donato, are good choices! again, please archive because once school starts, i may not be able to watch live. thank you!
