Survivor Fiji: Are We Going To Live On Exile Island?

(S14E09) Merge! Well, sort of. This week's episode throws in a bunch of shakeups trying for that "ooh" moment that usually keeps the audience so ensnared in Survivor. This week's twists however, seems sort of anti-climactic and don't lead to any really interesting shake-ups in the long run.
The teams go to Exile Island and I am hoping they have to live there but instead they get to go to Moto Beach. The team is all thrilled but alas Moto has been stripped. Everything is gone, no more couch time. The new tribe, Bula Bula, has to fend for themselves which makes both old Ravu and new Ravu excited since they think they are battle-worn and ready.
Mookie makes a move to find out what is going on with Yau, Cassandra and Dreamz. Immediately Boo is marked for elimination. Mookie makes the mistake of letting Dreamz know that they have the idol. Alex and Edgardo give Mookie a hard time about telling Dreamz and he seems to take it pretty hard and he is starting to realize that his allies aren't so allied with him. So much for the "Four Horsemen" alliance. Wasn't that name already taken by Jase and his raggedy bunch on Big Brother?
Earl seems to be flirting with Cassandra in order to secure her alliance but she seems to be more interested in having an alliance with Dreamz. Cassandra and Earl seem to have a strange relationship, they only seek each other out in times of crisis.
At the immunity challenge the teams are divided up again. Into green and orange, the old tribe colors. The two teams have to compete separately further complicating the system of alliances. The orange team has a strong lead but fumbles during the puzzle part of the challenge, still they win. The orange team which includes Yau-Man, Cassandra, Earl, Edgardo and Boo is immune and gets to feast. The other team heads to tribal with no time to strategize.
Aw, poor Boo knows he was on the way out and he confesses that steak brought his spirits back up. He's definitely grown on me since the early Moto days. I am hoping that he can last a few more weeks.
At tribal, Jeff does his best to make everyone suspicious of each other and gives Alex the unique chance to reveal all his personal biases. Alas, the most adorable tribe member, the ever-perky Michelle gets sent home. I would much rather have seen Stacy be sent home. This season has been hell on women, we only have Stacy and Cassandra left. Seven women have been eliminated and only three men and the women that remain aren't really ones I have a whole lot of faith in.
Next week: Dreamz can't keep a secret. Is he crazy or crazy like a fox?

I'm giving this week a 4 because damn it, if you are going to send everyone to tribal council with no debate time don't let them hash it out around the campfire and because I am really sorry to see the adorable Michelle head home.

•"Survivor" is voting its next season off the island, and on to mainland China. Now that might be a twist interesting enough to make me actually watch the show again.

Interesting night! Dreamz did NOT keep to his word that he would give Yau the immunity necklace if he won it when they were down to final four. Was hoping he would be honorable but he just did a whole lot of doublespeak to explain his being a jerk.

Jury ... Alex and Lisi were the most 'angry'... (Don't understand Lisi...she wanted to go home! duh) Boo based his questions on Christianity... Basically ...eh...shoulder shrug.... I'm sure there is a lot that others would find interesting...

After the final tally... even though Cassandra and Dreamz were also finalisits... the first six names pulled from the urn were all for Earl.

So...Earl is the million dollar winner! I'm happy for him... he played a smart game! I felt Cassandra just floated to the final and Dreamz... he burned too many bridges (all in the name of 'game play' according to him... which may have been true until he stabbed Yau in the back... tsk... wouldn't want him coaching my kids!)

So, that's my memory of the finale. What did you think? Were you happy with the outcome? How did you feel about Dreamz?

i was disappointed in dreamz.

i was like come on guy the show is over let your pride go you wanted the car you were wanting to keep your word but greed got a hold of you.

i didn't like alex's speach becuase it was just to boast up his ego by putting others down becuase they were smarter then him. granted everything he said was right just why bring something up that everyone knows about because you all talked about it already?

i was happy to see Earl win it. i wanted earl to win it all along. granted yau did push hard but it just depends on how you view the game. earl and yau were the ying and yang. one had strong comp skills (yau surpirsingly) and the other had strong mental game skills (earl). it would have been hard to vote for either of them in the finals without feeling bad for the other. with earl winning agiast the other two i would have been livid if he didn't get all the votes.

well played well played...
