Howie from Florida??

I posted this on another site but I thought you might want to read it as well. There has been some discussion about it as well. Let me know what you think.

I was rewatching the show right now and I noticed Howie is in front of a weather computer. Above the screens it says Doppler 12000 StormTrac Center. Well, I put that into a search engine and this site came back.

The only problem is that it's a CBS affiliate and I believe if you work for a CBS affiliate you are ineligible to be on any of their TV shows. But, he could be an intern. Who knows, but it's an idea. Just because his biography says he is from Chicago, it doesn't mean he lives there now.

Well, I work for a PBS station here...so i know a little about TV. Doppler 12000 happens to be a 'line' of TV station weather computers. So it is possible that several stations throughout the country use this computer. At least, I think that's teh case!

Someone commented about the fact they recognized the set when they were watching the show the other night. The other thing I noticed too was a palm tree. But, do they have palm trees in Chicago?
