Food competition and nominations
Posted: 03/06/2008 6:02 PM PST  |  Posted by Brian
Big Brother's newest Head of Household, Ryan, has exercised his power to nominated two fellow houseguests for eviction.  On Thursday night, he nominated Chelsia and Sharon for eviction.  One of them will leave live on Wednesday night.  Also on Wednesday, America will vote back a previously evicted houseguest into the house.

On Thursday morning, the food competition took place.  The houseguests played the game as two teams of four.  Chelsia, Josh, Sharon, and Sheila were the red team.  The blue team consisted of Adam, James, Matt, and Natalie.  The competition involved sliding into a pool to fish for letters of the alphabet.  The houseguests had to spell out words that represent food.  The blue team got spelled the most food-related words and won those items for the week.  The red team is on slop.

On Friday afternoon, Chelsia won the PoV.  She will likely remove herself from the block.

Allison evicted; Ryan HOH; another twist
Posted: 03/05/2008 6:17 PM PST  |  Posted by Brian
Allison and Ryan were evicted 2-0.  When they reached the front door, the siren went off.  Only one will be allowed to leave.  The siren means that the game will now be played as singles.  Adam, Sheila, James, Chelsia, Matt, and Natalie voted to evicted Allison from the house.  In a true/false HOH competition, Ryan walked away with the power.  America gets to vote back an evicted houseguest.  Vote at CBS.com.  Watch the events play out live, 24/7.  Our forum is chatting about it  here.

Food competition and nominations today
Posted: 02/28/2008 12:51 PM PST  |  Posted by Brian
Both this week's food competition and nomination ceremony will be taking place today.  The nominations are later today.  The food competition had to do with guessing weights of items, and other houseguests.  They houseguests are all wearing leotards, dressed like leaves or trees.  They competed as a whole group and they all won food for the week.  No slop!  Pictures of them dressed like leaves are located here.  Nomination results: Matt/Natalie and Ryan/Allison are nominated.

It's pretty freaking bueno!
Posted: 02/27/2008 11:29 PM PST  |  Posted by Brian
CBS posted a new video on YouTube making fun of Amanda's catchphrase "bueno."  I enjoyed the video, so I thought I would post it for everyone else on WLBB.  The video is located here.  Hundreds of other videos are located in our forum.

Big Brother goes nuts for Jericho
Posted: 02/25/2008 12:41 PM PST  |  Posted by Brian
Contestants from CBS's BIG BROTHER will face-off in a JERICHO-themed "Power of Veto" competition on Tuesday, Feb. 26 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Loss of communication with the outside world is an issue facing both contestants inside the BIG BROTHER house and the citizens of the CBS drama JERICHO.  During the broadcast's veto competition called "Communication Breakdown," BIG BROTHER Houseguests will put their communication skills to the test for the chance to gain information from the outside world.

As they battle for the "Power of Veto" on Tuesday, BIG BROTHER couples will search through thousands of pounds of peanuts in order to find their hidden color-coded cables and restore communication by correctly connecting the cables along their utility poles. The first couple to get all of their cables arranged and connected the right way will win the "Power of Veto," giving them the ability to remove a couple, or themselves, from the chopping block.

After the winning couple is declared, all of the Houseguests will get to view headlines that will be shown to them on a ticker tape style machine. The message will contain tidbits of news from the outside world, including a mystery headline that gives a clue to the upcoming JERICHO episode.

Note from Brian @ WLBB:  Aside from Big Brother, Jericho is my second favorite show on television these days.  I highly recommend keeping your TV tuned to CBS after Big Brother on Tuesday to give Jericho a try, if you're not already a fan!  Then, come discuss it in our forum.

It's bound to be another wild and crazy night

On Saturday night, the houseguests were rewarded with their margarita party that they won from the HOH competition. We'll provided updates in our forum and pictures in our gallery.  Several houseguests decided to tattoo themselves with stick-on tattoos.

Amanda and Allison return to the house
Posted: 02/22/2008 7:38 PM PST  |  Posted by Brian
On Friday night, Amanda fainted due to a medical condition.  The feeds are now back on after the incident.  More to follow when it becomes available.  WLBB urges extreme caution before watching the video.

7:44pm update: Amanda has left the house due to the situation.  Allison also appears to have left the house.
8:33pm update: Ryan confirms that Allison also went to the hospital, possibly because of an unrelated peanut reaction.
9:45pm update: Neither Amanda or Allison have returned yet.
9:52pm update: Exec. Producer Allison Grodner says A / A will be returning shortly. Flowers will be given to the girls.  HGs are making "welcome back" signs.  All HGs able to eat until Sunday.
10:02pm update: Amanda has returned from the hospital with a hospital wristband.  She is going to sleep for the night.  No sight of Allison yet.
10:18pm update: Allison and Amanda are now back in the house.  The doctors think something in the slop mixture caused the reaction.  Josh says, "Jacob will be back on the show if we keep killing off the cast members."
