Less than a week before the two-hour finale of “Big Brother 11,” CBS is already making plans for Big Brother 12. The network announced today it has ordered another edition of the hit reality series for broadcast in the summer 2010.
The three-times-a-week series has once again turned into a summer sensation, growing its audience both on-air and online for the CBS Television Network and CBS Interactive platforms.
BIG BROTHER 11 is one of only a handful of programs to post growth in its 10th season. Compared to last summer, BIG BROTHER 11 is up +7% in viewers (7.08m from 6.60m), +4% in adults 18-49 (2.5/08 from 2.4/07) and +5% in adults 18-34 (2.0/07 from 1.9/06). Each of the three weekly broadcasts are also posting summer-to-summer growth.
Online, BIG BROTHER 11 is the Number One show on CBS.com and across the CBS Audience Network in all key metrics with 25% more unique users and 94% more video streams than last summer. CBS.com also logged a record 11.6 million votes when Jeff was awarded the “Coup d’État” Power.
BIG BROTHER concludes its 11th edition with a special two-hour LIVE finale and reunion show, hosted by Julie Chen, next Tuesday, Sept. 15 (9:00-11:00 PM ET/delayed PT) as the Final Three (Jordan, Kevin and Natalie) face off for the $500,000 grand prize.

I think they should make a winter season. A lot of people love to watch big brother so they should do a summer season then after survivor and the amazing race end they should have a winter season so that all people that love big brother could see the show twice a year. Most people are right they should not do a all star season. It is awsome to meet new people and see how they would play the game. But there should not be a all star season till big brother 13 or big brother 14.

I LOVE Big Brother. Me and my family has been watching since season 9 and grew to love it. Also, I really hope they have a winter edition I mean it was great. Omg they really shouldn’t do a allstars I mean come on this is just my opinion but really the reason bb 11 did so well was because they knew people besides jesse and the reason the others seasons didn’t was because they didn’t. For bb 12 they should do something similar to bb 11.

I would love to see Natalie, and Matt, and Adam on again…they were a riot!!! If they did do an all star show, but I agree…season 14 should be when they do it. Hi everyone, I have watched bigbrother scince the very first season. Will was brilliant. It has been my dream ever scince to get on the show. I printed an application out off the internet 2 days ago and filled it out. now, I have to make a great video, make 2 perfect pictures of myself and send evrything in. I hope all of you Jeff and Jordan fans watched the start of the Amazing Race tonight! Team JJ got off to a great start by winning the first leg of the race! Way to go!

Watching Team JJ on Amazing Race will tide me over until BB12 begins. On dates, don’t the summer seasons usually begin in early July? I think in the past they have. I really hope it is fresh new blood on the show. The only type of All Star season I am interested in seeing would be an “Enemy Mine” twist, where enemies from previous seasons are forcibly paired for the first part of teh season. They have to rely on each other in competitions, and when evictions come, 2 pairs are nominated. Another twist would be that 2 players are evicted, 1 from each team. So, they would have to rely on each other to win competitions, BUT they would also have to undercut each other to stay on the show! What do ya’ll think? Wouldn’t that be a hoot? My nominees for enemy pairs would include
BB8 – Dick and Jen
BB9 – Chelsia and Natalie or James and Matt
BB11 – Casey and Ronnie

Last night (Feb. 23) it was advertised that Big Brother will be run in March. How come you do not have the cast members listed yet? Why is you website not up to date?

oh my gosh im getting more excited as spring is approaching cause then i know summer isnt far off and yes it will be big brother time again, woo hoo, i have watched it since season one and have gotten the feeds for the past 6 years and i totally become addicted. gotta start getting my spring cleaning done and out of the way before big brother time, no time for cleaning when its on.
