BIG BROTHER, CBSs summer stalwart reality show, will return next summer with its 11th edition.

BIG BROTHER concluded its 10th edition last Tuesday (Sept. 16) with 25-year-old Catholic school teacher Dan Gheesling winner of the top prize.
BIG BROTHER 10 averaged nearly 7 million viewers this summer, 2.4/07 in adults 18-49 and 3.0/08 in adults 25-54 and proved strong counter programming opposite the summer Olympics.
In addition, BIG BROTHER 10 used both online and mobile platforms to extend the overall show experience and created a community of fans. According to CBS Interactive analytics, BIG BROTHER 10 led all other primetime shows across the CBS Audience Network in terms of video views (clips and full episode streaming), time spent, page views and number of people visiting for the month of August. In addition, BIG BROTHER 10 featured a full 24/7 live online feed through a partnership with Real Networks. And on the mobile platform, BIG BROTHER 10 alerts and video clips were featured by CBS Mobile.
BIG BROTHER is executive produced by Emmy Award winner Allison Grodner, Rich Meehan and Scott Einziger, in association with Endemol USA Inc. Julie Chen hosts the live eviction broadcast.

I have to say, BB almost lost one of their biggest fans with the whole ED thing, gave # 10 a chance. LOVED IT.Important to keep a least a little moral in the show.
Hate to tell you Belinda but ED is the single most “FAMOUS” Big Brother winner/alumni in US BB history. While it may have been too harsh for some, others loved it and he brought droves of new BB Fans.

ED may be most popular..but I too almost quit watching BB (nothing else was on) glad I watched season 10. watched them all ED was toooo much.

I feel ya Lisa… I’ve been a BB fan for yrs. I watch the feeds and everything. But, the year they did a winter one and then a summer one right after, it got to be too much, in my opinion. By the time the summer was over, i was so sick of it. I think I like wishing it were on more often, more than I like having it on all the time.

i love bb i only watched three seasons but its my fav show ever!! i didnt really like the last two seasons as much as season eight with Daniele shes so awesome, but they were still really good!!

When i heard that big brother wasnt coming back until summer, i starting freaking out! haha BB is by far my favorite show and i am SO glad their continuing it to 11th season. Its such a great show!!

I also love big brother!! A lot of people didn’t like Season 9 but it was one of my favorites! I just didn’t know if Adam was the best choices of winners. Season 10 was great also and Dan was one of the best players. I can’t wait to see what Season 11 will have in store for us.
oh my gosh i love big brother… i know for sure im going to try out when i turn 21.. i do have to say the season with ED and the season with Howey was by far my faveriot eposied yet!!!

Hey, I have been waiting patiently for BB11. I am a BB fanatic. I just cant wait. I watch BB 7 nights a week. Regular scheduled showtimes on CBS and every night on Showtime. I am going crazy without it. Hurry BB we cant wait!!!!!
Wow just can not wait for BB11. Never miss a show including the Showtime Shows. Have watch all the shows from the begining and tape them all. Have the whole collection on tape. So much fun to go back and see again.

I can’t wait until BB come on. I love it that show, it is my favorite reality show ever. When is the start up date for bb11. I am thinking July because that is when the show normally begins. Does anyone know different? I do think there should be other nationalities on the show.
This season 11 I have heard thats it’s called Summer OF Love. I must say after applying I hope I get on . I am a 53 single male and it would be nice to have a showmance. I could have thought of a better theam this summer but Summer Of Love is Grovie too.

Big Brother is my all time favorite reality show. I watch every season and even subscribed to Showtime to get even more of it. I wish they would have had a winter season also. It’s too long in between seasons for me. I think they should run another Big Brother show with all older people. That would be a riot. Can’t wait for it to start.

Big Brother is the BEST reality tv show! I’ve been waiting for my co-worker to be called, to be on it. He would really do well and make it real far in the game. Please Big Brother, Please choose him! We will be glued to our tv’s on July 9th. We can’t wait.

It kicks ass!! I also record it on showtime! Everyone, if you can watch it on showtime, do!! it is unedited and also you get to hear them plot way deeper than on regular tv. Plus last season you saw all them make out with eachother (except the boys) and get naked and drunk and crazy. showtime BB not for kids though.
I am very upset that i cant watch the new big brother live throughout the day. Why is it only on late at night when everyone is in bed, dont you think that there will be less people voting as they cannot judge any of the characters. I am very very disappointed with this years Big Brother.
June, I think you’re talking about BB10 UK. I heard that viewers are no longer able to view the live feeds on the British version of the show this year. However, this website is dedicated to the American version of the show.

My mom and I love this show. We’ve watched it from day one and talk endless hours about it. We can’t wait to see the cast this year. I’m a freelance writer and I heard there’s a freelancer on the show because she said she can make more money on the show than she can writing. Hey, I hear ya.
BTW, I’m 56 and my mom is 88. We’re always glad to see someone a little older on the show, but no matter who is on or how old they are, WE LOVE BB!!!
